Housing developer Redrow has sponsored brand-new coats for Little Stoke FC’s first team management committee. During the football season, especially approaching November, it can be very cold in the dugout. So, the coats are a big asset for the management team.
Little Stoke FC, who now play their home games on a dedicated pitch in Little Stoke Park, were founded in the 1950s by Percy Plummer and Cab Calloway. The club, whose first team play in Division One of the Gloucestershire County League, has expanded over time and has talent across its youth and senior teams.
First team manager Ashley Cole commented:
“The committee were elated when the new coats arrived. They look really smart and so were sported proudly on Saturday, lifting the spirits of our team. Little Stoke are overjoyed to have Redrow as a sponsor.”
Charlotte Newnes, South West area sales manager at Redrow, said:
“Little Stoke FC play such an important role in their local community, giving people the opportunity to play football and providing positive role models for children in the local area. It is always such a joy to contribute to community hubs like Little Stoke, even if we’re just playing a small role”
Redrow’s Frenchay Gardens development, which offers two-, three- and four-bedroom homes as well as one- and two-bedroom luxury apartments, is situated less than 4 miles from Stoke Gifford and Little Stoke. Served by the recently enlarged Frenchay Primary School, it is ideal for families.
