Police officers investigating a series of vehicle fires in north Bristol in April are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man in new CCTV footage they’ve released today (7th September).
Two men set fire to 24 vehicles in the Stoke Gifford, Little Stoke, Patchway and Bradley Stoke areas during the early hours of Sunday 3rd April 2022.
A 26-year-old man was charged with 24 counts of arson the same month and is next due to appear at Bristol Crown Court on 12th September.
The second man involved in the incident remains unknown and enquiries to identify him continue.
CCTV footage
As part of these ongoing enquiries, CCTV footage of a man aged in his late teens or early 20s who is wearing a distinctive black and grey hooded top and grey jogging bottoms has now been released.
Officers think the man in the footage may have information which could help their inquiry and ask anyone who recognises him to contact them.
Note: The same CCTV footage is also available to view in Facebook and Twitter posts made by Avon and Somerset Police.
Any one with information is asked to phone 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5222078593.
