The Coronation of King Charles III takes place on Saturday 6th May 2023 and it is followed by a bank holiday on Monday 8th May 2023.

The Sort It recycling centres are open every day 8.30am to 4.30pm. The sites are usually very busy on bank holiday weekends, especially between 10am and 2pm, so if you can, plan your visit for the quieter times or to come another day. If you do need to use a recycling centre this weekend, sort your waste before you arrive to speed up your visit.

There are no changes to waste and recycling collections or Sort It recycling centre opening times (8.30am – 4.30pm) over the Easter bank holidays.
The Sort It recycling centres are likely to be very busy, particularly at Mangotsfield. If you can, plan your your visit for another day.
The public entrance for Mangotsfield Sort It recycling centre has changed and is via the new slip on Carsons Link Road. The old entrance is now closed to the public.
