Improved A-level results for Abbeywood School

Students at Abbeywood Community School have achieved good results in their A-level examinations, despite the school being placed into ‘special measures’ by Ofsted last year. Dave Baker, Executive Headteacher, today described the results as being “even better than last year’s best ever”. Ofsted puts Abbeywood School into special measures

Stoke Gifford’s Abbeywood Community School has been placed into special measures by Ofsted. The school, formerly known as Filton High, was visited by inspectors at the beginning of December and their report was sent home to parents/carers yesterday (Monday 30th January).
