New Aldi store opened by Paralympic gold medallist Stephanie Millward

Aldi opened its tenth store in Bristol today, Thursday 13th June 2024, with the launch of its Stoke Gifford branch within the new mixed-use development on Fox Den Road (behind Sainsbury’s). The store opened at 8am with ParalympicsGB swimming gold medallist Stephanie Millward cutting the ribbon alongside pupils from St Michael’s CofE Primary School.

Stoke Gifford Aldi store set to open in June

Stoke Gifford’s new Aldi store, located on a newly developed mixed-used site at Fox Den Road (behind Sainsbury’s), is due to open on Thursday 13th June 2024. A Costa drive-through became the first unit on the site to begin trading when it opened its doors in early April. Other businesses on the development that will be opening soon are a Premier Inn and a Beefeater restaurant.

Stoke Gifford to get Aldi and Costa by 2023

Stoke Gifford residents look set to have a new Aldi supermarket and a Costa drive-through on the doorstep within two years after plans for a new mixed-use development were given the green light. The development site is on a large vacant plot of land behind the existing Sainsbury’s store at Fox Den Road.

Revised plans submitted for Premier Inn, Aldi and Costa in Stoke Gifford

The company behind proposals for a new mixed-use development on vacant land to the rear of Sainsbury’s in Stoke Gifford has submitted a suite of revised plans in an effort to address concerns raised by planning officials at South Gloucestershire Council.

Plans go in for Aldi, Premier Inn and Costa drive-through at Fox Den Road

A new mixed-use development featuring an Aldi supermarket, a Costa drive-through, a Premier Inn hotel and a Beefeater restaurant could be built in Stoke Gifford. A planning application for the proposed development, on vacant land to the rear of Sainsbury’s in Fox Den Road, has recently been submitted by Baylis Estates Limited.
