Plans submitted for student accommodation block on former B&Q garden centre site

Plans to build a large student accommodation block on a vacant plot within a Stoke Gifford retail park have moved a step forward with the submission of a formal planning application. The proposed building ranges from five to nine storeys in height and provides 330 student bedrooms. It is intended for students attending the nearby UWE Frenchay Campus and, once complete, would be managed by the university.
