Further road resurfacing and maintenance work is set to take place along Gipsy Patch Lane later this month (June) and over the first weekend in July. A full closure will take place overnight on Monday 20th June. This will be followed by one-way closures over the weekends of Friday 24th June to Monday 27th June and Friday 1st July to Monday 4th July.

First Bus announced as operator of new Parkway to Cribbs ‘M4’ MetroBus service
First West of England has been announced as the operator of a planned new MetroBus service on the soon-to-be-completed Cribbs Patchway MetroBus Extension. Buses are expected to start running on the route between Bristol Parkway Station and The Mall at Cribbs Causeway in “spring 2023”.

Motor vehicles can now pass along the full length of Gipsy Patch Lane in both directions – westbound towards the A38 Gloucester Road, and eastbound towards Little Stoke, Stoke Gifford and Bradley Stoke.

Further carriageway surfacing work under the new railway bridge on Gipsy Patch Lane, Little Stoke, is due to get under way tonight (Monday 13th December 2021). Network Rail and its contractor Alun Griffiths will be surfacing the carriageway and footpath on the south side of the bridge.
