The Sort It waste disposal and recycling centre in Station Road, Little Stoke, is to see its gates remain closed for two weeks from Monday (15th April) to allow essential repairs to be carried out. South Gloucestershire Council says the temporary closure is needed in order to “replace the floor of the site.” The site is due to reopen on Saturday 27th April.

Little Stoke Sort It centre set to reopen on Monday (31st July) as strike action paused
South Glos Council’s Sort It recycling centre in Station Road, Little Stoke, is set to reopen on Monday (31st July) as a consequence of industrial action being “suspended”. The site has been temporarily closed since Monday 26th June, with the council saying this was necessary “due to the reduced workforce”. The council is warning that the site might be forced to close early if long queues form.
