Volunteers step in to provide community library service after council axes van

A new library has opened in the St Michael’s Centre in Stoke Gifford, providing a range of books for adults and children in the local community. Located in the mezzanine above the coffee shop, which has step free access, the community library has replaced South Gloucestershire Council’s mobile van service which ceased running in October due to cuts in library

Local choir provide backing vocals for band

The Gospel Generation Community Choir (GGCC) have supported Christian band Treasure Field during their concert held in the St Michael’s auditorium in Stoke Gifford on 18th November. New church and community centre in use for first time this weekend

Hundreds of people attended the first services to be held in the new St Michael’s Church and Community Centre at Stoke Gifford this weekend (25th/26th April).
